    Association Sunday

    Rev. Peter Morales

Be in York on Sunday, November 7 – and plan to join over 500 other Unitarian Universalist folks from Central PA for combined worship. We’ll gather at the new auditorium at William Penn High School in the City of York for a rousing service featuring the new President of the Unitarian Universalist Association, Rev. Peter Morales. The title of the sermon is: “To Dream the Possible Dream.”

Music includes instrumentalists and a combined choir from Central PA U.U. congregations. People of all ages are encouraged to attend, although professional Nursery care is provided on-site in case the littlest ones (or their parents) prefer that option. The school is located at 101 W College Ave., and most parking is off of Princess Street, behind the school. After the service, all are invited to head over to the U.U. Congregation of York (about 9 blocks away) for a chili and cornbread luncheon, delicious desserts, and conversation with Rev. Peter Morales. Enjoy the lovely 6+ acres of grounds and the new labyrinth built by the congregation. Conveniently located off exit 15 of I-83. This exit puts you on George Street heading north, and the church is about two blocks past the long exit, on right as you head up hill. To continue to the school just keep going about eight blocks, then one block west on either College Ave. or Princess Street. Busses and handicap “drop off” on College Ave, cars park Princess Street since there is a big municipal parking lot there. Please don't park at the Catholic Church next to the school. Arrive early and enjoy the JCFisher Band on stage before the service begins. Auditorium doors open at 9:30 a.m. Don't forget this is time-change Sunday!

Many thanks to the Joseph Priestley District's Chalice Keepers endowment for their grant to help make this spectacular worship event possible!
